TANZANIA – ACTION MEDEOR INTERNATIONAL HEALTHCARE AND OCOPHARMA SIGN STRATEGIC AGREEMENT

In a significant step towards strengthening regional healthcare systems, action medeor International Healthcare, a German-based organization operating in Tanzania, and Ocopharma signed a strategic cooperation agreement in Moroni, Comoros.

The agreement, officially sealed during a ceremony at Ocopharma’s headquarters, symbolizes a shared commitment to improving access to affordable, high-quality medicines and healthcare solutions across East Africa and the Indian Ocean region.

The signing was presided over by Mr. Omar Mohamed, Director General of Ocopharma, alongside representatives from action medeor International Healthcare Tanzania: Dr. Christoph Bonsmann, General Director for Africa, and Mr. Gerald Masuki, Country Director for Tanzania.

The collaboration aims to open new opportunities for healthcare development by strengthening pharmaceutical supply chains, enhancing regional cooperation, and promoting knowledge exchange. It further reflects a commitment to ensuring sustainable access to essential medicines while supporting healthcare delivery in underserved communities.

This milestone agreement marks the beginning of a strategic alliance to:
